Relocation

As many of my friends and clients know I have a passion for a few things: Anything made by Apple, my MINI Cooper S and designing sites on and promoting Squarespace.  This Sunday I'll be driving from the Apple Capital to the Big Apple in my MINI Cooper S while rocking out to music on my iPhone.  I've accepted a position with Squarespace's Support and Social Engagement teams. Very. Excited.

So what happens to Dempsey Design? While I won't be accepting as much work, I'll still be offering service on a limited, case-by-case basis.  Of course I'll also provide support to my current clients as well.

I'd certainly like to thank my clients for patronage. I've been extremely pleased with how far Dempsey Design has come.

So I won't say "good bye" but rather, "I'll be seeing you".  I do have a few of my latest projects to share from some excellent clients. I'll post these soon.

New Projects & Squarespace Support

I've been quite busy this last month.  I'd like to welcome some new clients:

I'll be adding Chim Chimney's new web store and giving Peet Plumbing's website a shiny new coat of paint.

I'd also like to announce that I am officially a part of the Squarespace Support team.  Squarespace is employing me on a part time basis to help their customers with support and technical questions about the platform.  I've developed over 40 Squarespace sites, so I am quite familiar with the system.

Squarespace SoHo new digs

Squarespace. Shon Dempsey. New York city.

I'll be in attendance of the Squarespace holiday party, Thursday December 10th to rub elbows with the team (and chums, Tyler Thompson & Josh Kill) behind the best CMS available, their friends and other fellow designers.  Squarespace just relocated to new offices on broadway in SoHo, so it will all go down in their new digs.  I'll be snapping photos and sharing them here an on twitter.
